Nootropics

I made my first foray into nootropics back in 2013, with the introduction of Piracetam, along with the choline source Choline Bitartrate. I'd read about nootropics on many research and review platform with varying comments regarding the effectiveness and satisfaction experienced by regular users, including those who liked to stack a variety of Nootropics to enhance and widen the effects.

One point I would like to make with regard to taking these supplements, is that they will not turn you into a genius, despite being labeled 'smart drugs'. What they can do is provide you the tools you need to utilize your brains potential more efficiently, extend your ability to focus and allow you to retain and recall information with enhanced clarity. The way that nootropics work, is that the connections between each circuit in your neural network have sparks which are increased by supplements like Piracetam, Oxiracetam, Aniracetam & Pramiracetam. However when taking these supplements, it is recommended that you take them with one of a number of Choline sources, such as Centrophenoxine, DMAE, Choline Bitartrate and Alpha GPC. Centrophenoxine, the choline source that I have used the most, has been used in the treatment of patients suffering from Alzheimers. It has also been reported that it slows down the build-up lipofuscin, which is the equivalent of liver spots on the Myelin which is an insulating layer, or sheath that forms around nerves, including those in the brain. The myelin sheath allows electrical impulses to transmit quickly and efficiently along the nerve cells.

Important notice: Centrophenoxine, via its DMAE subset, may also exert teratogenic (birth-defects) effects. Due to this Centrophenoxine should not be used by females of child-bearing age.

From my experience, the combination of the ketones that my brain was thriving on for energy, along with nootropic supplementation, significantly improved my focus, memory recall and verbal fluency.

If you take a look at the video provided on Piracetam, it explains how this nootropic supplement has the specific side effect of creating an environment in your neural pathways, where ideas are more likely to turn into reality, so if you happen to procrastinate, this nootropic may peak your curiosity. Likewise, for those of us who make have a tendancy to lose focus, or have some form of attention deficit, then these racetam supplements may just be the key to unlocking potential. When I first started taking Piracetam with Choline Bitartrate, I found my focus and clarity of thought reached a level where distractions faded away and my approach to tasks became more efficient. When I was at home and not working, I had the urge to organise and de-clutter. The most unusual effect of the initial experience, was that colours seemed more vibrant and clear.  To read more about some of the more commonly used racetams, please click on the following links:
